Very very beautiful landscaping! Rooms and resort clean Awesome sunsets and whales were visible in the ocean! but the train was out of service one of the days and unavailable early morning Very long walk for those with ambulation issues Food was so expensive on the resort we were forced to eat elsewhere almost every day

The resort was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We Loved watching the 'nene goose', from our patio. Only minor complaints. Like, we can't understand why the food places, coffee shops close so early? Open late, 10am, noon. Close early. 4pm. Coffee shop, noon. We definitely would have spent more money.

Room was lovely and the lady who checked us in was wonderful. Nice setting. However the pool bars/cafe closed at 4pm? Limited dining opportunities to pretty much an Italian restaurant pricey or a super expensive one ($58 for a vegetable curry! and I am used to prices in San Francisco). The resort is sprawling over a large acreage and has a tram which is super slow (quicker to walk) and on check out day was not working so we had to walk a fair distance carrying luggage to check out.

My family and I Loved this hotel so much everything was clean and updated. The staff were amazing. Our view from our room was amazing we stayed on the Makai side and had the dolphin and ocean view which was breathtaking we will definitely come back

The grounds were beautiful but there were some areas that were needing maintenance and repair. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and we didn’t get the king bed we reserved with Expedia - not sure whose fault that was - Expedia’s or the hotel. We ended up with two queen beds which was all they had available for an ocean front room. They tried to upsell us into a suite for $300 extra per night and we told them no. Then they tried to give it to us for free which seemed odd. Come to find out, it was because they didn’t have the room we originally reserved. We were NOT happy!! Did not start out on a good note for us.

This place is huge!! Takes a bit to get acclimated and every inch is beautiful -both natural areas and man-made areas. Whale watching was fun… the dolphins and turtles are a special treat

Great for families, lots of things to do on property. The only staff that was an issue was the Italian place, the other staff was fantastic. Lots of pools which makes it easy to find a quiet spot to hang out.
