Comfortable and Great Location
We enjoyed our stay in the Washington DC area. The location of the rental is perfect with just a five minute walk to the Metro and a short drive into DC. The home was comfortable, clean, and well kept. Kelly was attentive and checked in with us throughout the visit to ensure everything was going well I’d stay here again jn the future.

Proximity to The national cemetery & airport could not be better. There were great amenities within walking distance as well. The house was clean & had everything we needed. There was great space for us all toall of us to spread out as well.

Very cozy
The house was immaculate and served our needs perfectly. It was close to every spot that we were visiting.My only criticisms are that I was unaware that the lower level has no access to the rest of the house. I wish I had known this in advance. I would also change the rug in the dining room. It is an accident waiting to happen. Overall, we were quite pleased with the home.

Family Trip to DC
We had an amazing trip with the family to DC. The house was perfect for our family of 10. The house was even better than described. It had plenty of room for the entire crew, was clean, well-furnished and spacious. Having three full bathrooms was also nice. We went to DC for the Army Navy game, but also to see the sites of the Capital. The Metro was a very easy 3-4 minute walk and was on a direct line that took us to straight to the museums and monuments. There were lots of good restaurants nearby and the neighborhood was very safe and secure. We had no problems, but Kelly checked in on us by email regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Could not ask for a better host. I would recommend this location to anyone traveling to DC.

Nice Place to Stay
We absolutely loved our stay here! The host was fantastic, and the house was perfect for our group of 12. Everyone had a wonderful family time together in this peaceful, cozy home. The washer and dryer came in handy, and we had a blast playing table tennis. The fireplace was a lovely touch, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The separate basement with its own entrance was a great bonus for extra privacy. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the railway station, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

This was a very clean, well stocked house located about 5 minutes from the Metro. The neighborhood was quiet (except for some airplanes) and had lots of nearby dining. If you have elderly people as we did, you should know that while the walk is short, it is uphill to the Metro. Would definitely stay again!

Great location!
This was a great location for our family as we visited Washington DC. Very safe neighborhood and only 5 min walk to courthouse metro station - 10-16 min metro ride to all sight seeing destinations in DC! Very clean and all necessary kitchen and bath essentials provided! Would definitely recommend for groups or multiple families who will be visiting DC and don’t want to drive to sightseeing!

Great location, great property.
We were a group of 11 visiting DC for a wedding and could not be happier with our stay. The property had more than enough room for all of us comfortably, plenty of space to socialise and was within a few minutes walk to the metro for accessing the city centre. Our hosts were responsive and the whole process was easy from start to finish.

Memorial Day Family Gathering
The house was really close to DC and made it easy to get into the city to see the memorials and museums. It was also close to the Zoo which made it nice to get an early start on the day. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed reading in the backyard around the fire pit while the little kids napped. We were able to park 2 minivans and an SUV in the parking area. The house is a 6 min walk from Brooklyn Bagels which are great New York style bagels. Although the house is somewhat cut up with 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, 1 on the 1st floor, and one in the basement, it worked great for our family as it separated us somewhat and allowed the kids and adults to nap in the afternoon and the kids to go to bed early in the evening. We had a great weekend!!!

Wow!
What a great location!!! A short walk to Court House Metro station made access to our sightseeing very simple. The decor was cute and cozy. We were delighted by the toys for little ones away from home. Our family of 8 had plenty of room to spread out and get rested/ ready in the morning without being in each other’s way. Everything you are looking for in DC metro area rental at a very reasonable price. Would recommend!!

Location Location Location
Our family of 8 adults spent 4 nights/5 days visiting DC. Staying in Arlington was convenient with the 10 minute walk to the Metro. Seven Eleven was right around the corner for convenience of picking up essentials. We drove to Whole Foods for groceries. But we also had Uber to the same area to do some shopping and eating out. Very safe and clean neighborhood. The house easily housed all of us with more options to sleep. When we arrived we noticed we had no propane for the fire pit and Kelly was there within an hour and got us a full tank. She also helped us set up the TV. We filled the fridge, used the oven and stove, dishwasher. Hot showers with clean towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash were appreciated. The set up worked out perfectly because my husband and I stayed in seperate rooms below with our own living room and bathroom. The rest of the adult children stayed in the bedrooms in the main part. We could go to bed early and they weren’t bothering us and we could get up early and shower and we didn’t wake them. Sorry lots of drinking used the bags! Tupelo Honey was my favorite place that we ate at. We also went to Barley and Mac, Ragtime, Banditos Tequila, Starbucks, Roadside Grille and Taco Bell Cantina. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for us all to be together on vacation and this house made it even better. I would highly recommend to any family or group. And if there isn’t something that they don’t have I am sure Kelly will do her best to accommodate!

Metro House
This nicely renovated old house was a delight. So clean and new! The location is indeed a 5 minute walk to the Metro. 2 stops from Arlington and 12 min to the White House. A number of restaurants are in walking distance. Would stay here again for sure. We were a party of 5 adults. 1 couple and 3 singles. Space worked out great.

Very convenient to Arlington National Cemetery. House has parking out front and just 10 minutes drive to Reagan Airport makes for easy pickups of relatives. Full kitchen in the house with restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. A real find!

Highly Recommend
Our three families, including young adults, had nothing but compliments during our three-day stay while touring DC at Christmastime. The private basement with its separate entrance was perfect for one family. The multiple bedrooms on the property provided others with their desired privacy. Before elaborating further in this review, I must give Kelly, our property manager, credit for answering our many touristy questions and responding to the specific questions from travelers who were both flying into and driving to DC. Most of our day was spent sleeping or dining after a full day of touring. The bedrooms smelled fresh. The pillows were the right size and comfort level. Everyone slept well. The bathrooms had ample towels and there’s no need to pack shampoo/conditioner, body wash or blow dryer. They were supplied. The kitchen was also well-stocked with sufficient dinnerware, glassware, and cookware for our cooking couples. There was even a beginning supply of K-cups. There is no need to worry about supplies when cleaning after dinner. Paper towels, dish soap, trash bags, dishwasher tablets, etc. were all there. Nothing seemed missing. While taking the nearby Metro was our preferred method of travel, it was great having the private driveway to park a car. We always seemed to get home too late to enjoy the fire pit and the weather was a bit cold; however, we would gladly return and stay here to enjoy the warmth of the fire on a cool night.
