Barely any hot water! Unfortunately, only one of the three of us could take a short shower before the hot water ran out. Management was aware of the problem, came and reset the water heater, and nothing changed. We checked out a day early (still had to pay for that night.)

Fabulous stay

Loved loved loved this apartment hotel. Clean, quiet, modern, handy to the Whitehouse end of the tourist area. Appreciated the laundry in the apartment and all the on-request consumables. The hotel has a lovely bar but no cafe or food. However virtually next door is a great place for coffee and food. My only suggestion for improvement is a bigger and better couch.

Individual suits. Small hot water tank, showers were not hot. Customer service ok. No housekeeping and if you need fresh towels, you need to go down to the front desk. Toilet paper too. No restaurant on property. It was ok. Don’t think I would go back.

Terrible Shower

The room was spacious and well equipped. The big problem: the shower. Very light flow and the water was never more than lukewarm. The mirrors in the bathroom never steamed up. Another problem: Despite raising the thermostat temperature, the room was cold and drafty. Finally, there is a bar, but no restaurant that we could find.

This was the best North American hotel/extended stay property I've even stayed in! The staff is wonderful - friendly, helpful and informative. We stayed in a one bedroom suite; it had all the necessary amenities, and more, and was modern, clean, quiet and comfortable. The AXA White House location was perfect - walkable to the National Mall, Smithsonian Museums, White House, etc.. If I am fortunate enough to return to Washington, I would definitely stay here again; if I am in other cities where they have properties, I would explore those as well.

The best accommodation in our 6 week USA trip, by far! It was immensely large and stylish - 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge, dining, kitchen and laundry. Clean, quiet, accessible by foot to everywhere, except Arlington Cemetery, which was a short Uber ride. The staff were polite, professional and helpful.

The only “problem” I found is that courtains could be improved with good blackout ones. This is bc there’s an office in the building next door, and lights are always on, which is a bit annoying when sleeping
