Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt
Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in einem tollen Haus. Das Haus liegt sehr zentral und ruhig. Wir haben uns hier sehr sicher gefühlt. Mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Von der Unterkunft bis zur kostenlosen Tram in der H-Street, die zur Union Station fährt sind es nur 4 Minuten. Lu hatte uns eine Metrokarte zur Nutzung zur Verfügung gestellt. Bei unserer Anreise hat der Gastgeber uns seinen Parkplatz zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Küchenausstattung war super und alles in ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und es gab genügend Kissen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war großartig! Wir haben immer sofort eine Antwort erhalten. Danke, lieber Lu, wir hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit in deinem schönen Haus.

Great Flat close to everything!
Great find close to everything! Plenty of room for our family of 5. Walking distance to grocery, shopping and restaurants. The location made our trip easy walking to and from Union Station for easy access to all of Washington DC. Street parking can be tricky; however, we never had any issues. Our boys play soccer and it was nice to be close to two schools with soccer fields for them to kick the ball around during downtime. We would definitely stay again when our adventures bring us to DC.

Wonderful house in a family friendly neighborhood
We had a lovely stay for a long weekend when we visited the city for a family members wedding. The home was plenty big for all of our needs and well appointed. It was close to shops and restaurants but had a very family friendly feel to the neighborhood. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again when we visit DC!

Great Location - Great Host - Beautiful Place!
We chose this rental for its fantastic location, and it did not disappoint! It’s super convenient to Union Station, making it easy to hop on the Metro and explore the city. The property itself was spotless, with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed.What truly set this stay apart was the host—absolutely outstanding! They were incredibly responsive, even with the smallest questions, and an absolute pleasure to work with. If you're looking for a hassle-free, comfortable stay in a prime location, this is the place. We came into town for the marathon and the place was perfect. Close to a ton of restaurants, yoga studios, grocery stores and just under a mile from the Union Station Metro stop. Turns out the owner is also a friend of one of the folks that stayed at the place.

Wonderful experience
Booked this to meet our son’s family for the Army 10 miler race. House was a perfect location to all DC destinations. Extremely clean, lots of extras and in a safe area. Pleased with parking and extras such as some metro cards that were left for us. Only drawback, not for us, but older visitors may be the stairs to upper level where rooms located. Beds very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Mr Lu. Well done.

Family-friendly, jumping-off point
Nice, clean house in a good, walkable neighborhood. It's a less than 5-minute walk to Whole Foods, a 10-minute walk to the (slightly less pricey) Giant grocery store, and a 15-minute walk to Union Station to catch the metro. H Street is a bit sketchy in parts and so we spent no time there except to get groceries. The three bedrooms, all on the second floor, served us well and had comfortable beds (with comfortable mattresses and nice bedding). The description says "sleeps 8" but "sleeps 6" is more accurate and realistic. My sole criticism: the property description says there is a "hot tub," which there is not. There are jacuzzi features on the bathroom bathtubs, but that's as close as it gets. For the sake of being truthful and transparent, I suggest you eliminate "hot tub" from the property description. It's the first thing people see under "popular amenities" on the property's landing page, which is false and misleading. Other minor (but hopefully helpful) criticisms: there were loose floor tiles in the kitchen and master bathroom that require repair, and there was no cookie sheet. The high quality coffee beans, toilet paper, and shampoo/conditioner/soaps were appreciated. Overall, we had a very positive, memorable week in DC and the house served our family very well.

Great DC Experience
This was an awesome place for our family of 5 to stay to get the total DC experience. A really great historic house, clean and well appointed, in a very nice historic neighborhood so very close to all the sights. The neighborhood was very safe feeling and you can drive, walk, ride the bus, or walk to Union Station to get to whatever you want to really easy. We had a great family vacation with 4 adults and one teenager. The house was exactly as shown in the pictures. We would definitely stay here again. The only challenge was parking my F150 but we managed to “squeeze” into a spot every day. Stay here and you won’t regret it.

Close to downtown. Store and restaurants close. Busses and metro close. The house is adorable and nicely stocked. The stairs may be a concern for some. I’m 78 and didn’t have a problem. There is a hide a bed downstairs if necessary. The hosts are wonderful and very accommodating. Love this place

The house is located in a great neighborhood, close to shopping, a coffee house, and the Capitol. The house had plenty of room, was immaculate and well-cared for. The owner was very responsive and communicated with us regularly. There was a nice sitting area outside in the back and very little street noise. The beds were comfortable and the house was well-stocked with plenty of toiletries and cooking utensils. Free parking was provided out-front with plenty of spaces available. I would highly recommend this property! If I travel to DC again, I will most certainly be booking this property.

Perfect Accomadations!
It was the perfect place for our family including a 2 year old and 4 year old to stay. Communications with the host were great! Always got a response in a timely manner. The house was very clean and the amenities were excellent. The kids loved the park across the street. H street was so close and convenient for grocery shopping. Its proximity to Union Station was a plus as part of our group arrived by train. Also, street parking was always available. We would certainly stay here again.

Snowy wonderland in Washington DC downtown
We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful VBRO in Washington DC this past week. The condo was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked even with whole coffee beans and a coffee grinder. It was stocked with decaf coffee grounds, spices, sugar, honey, hot tea and cocoa. We came in late in a snowy night and it was nice to have those items. The steps were shoveled during the snow storm. Condo is well located within two blocks of Whole Foods and cvs and electric trolley to union station. Could not have been more pleased. Lu, the owner was very accessible. We would definitely stay here again.

Would stay again!
Overall, this was the perfect place for the 6 of us to stay over a long weekend! It was close to Union Station, so getting around DC was easy. The Union Market area is nearby for great shopping/food/etc. The house itself was just like the photos, maybe even better. Sometimes pictures make a place look nicer/bigger, but we were in awe of the space, which had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, kitchen supplies were abundant, and they even were stocked with complimentary coffee and bathroom shampoo/conditioner/body wash. If I have family or friends in town again, this place would be at the top of my list.
