Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The waiting area was clean and cozy. The surrounding area was very walkable and there was a 24 hour cvs near by in case you forgot any essentials. The room had shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion in the restroom. There was no hair drier in the bedroom, but we called the front desk and they brought one to our room promptly.

We booked this hotel for the location due to its proximity to the start and finish for the 49th marine corps marathon. Downtown and all the sights of Washington are easily accessible. Hotel staff were exceptional in their service. Recommended.

Only a 4 minute walk from the D.C. metro station, making it very easy to see all the sights at our Nations Capitol, but then being able to quickly return to a very nice neighborhood in Arlington, VA where there were a lot of dining options. Very safe and very comfortable
