Elegant, well appointed townhouse
Five adult family members stayed in this house for nearly a week at Christmas while visiting other family members with young children. The house was perfect for us. Every detail has been considered and offered.The kitchen is exceptionally well outfitted, there is a very good washer and dryer, every couple had their own attached bath, the closets are spacious, there is a small outdoor space with a grill and a fire pit, and on and on. And even though it is close to a busy road, it was very quiet inside. However, is definitely a house for adults, not small children.I hope this house is still a short-term rental when we visit Alexandria again.

Washington DC Trip
We were 3 adult couples visiting the DC sights for a week. We enjoyed our stay and it was well located to DC if you have a car. Garden could use a little TLC but otherwise a great time !

It’s always a challenge to find a property with en suite bathrooms for 3 or 4 couples at a fairly reasonable price and in a good location. And, despite being next to a high school with the accompanying traffic, it was reasonably quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location
The home was just as described. It’s in a great location, situated in a safe neighborhood with private parking; which is a plus in the D.C. area. The home has 3 wonderfully appointed bedrooms all with comfortable beds and great decor. You’ll find everything you need including ample towels, plenty of cookware and all the streaming channels you’d ever want. Colin and Laurie were wonderful hosts who communicated well and even left us a handwritten note alongside an excellent bottle of red wine to welcome us to their home. If you’re visiting the DC area, you can’t go wrong with this property. 10 out of 10 for sure!!!!!

DC Getaway
Spent a great week enjoying the sights in DC. Our stay at this property made it easy since its location was great. The place was very clean, practical, and had every amenity we needed. Would recommend it highly to friends and will try to stay here again next time we are in DC. There are several very good eating establishments nearby, a pharmacy and grocery store which made it extremely convenient. Hosts were outstanding.

Fabulous DC getaway
All the comforts of home from beginning to end. Hosts were available for any questions. We were greeted with a nice note & bottle of wine. Kitchen was fully stocked with items to make our stay welcoming. We had a nice fire one night after a long day in DC. Location couldn't be better. Old town Alexandria has many restaurants worth visiting too. We will definitely be recommending this home to our friends & family. Thank you again Laurie & Collin

All the Right Stuff
The house is even prettier than the pictures depict. They think of all the little things, especially in the kitchen. We all know a lot of places don’t pay close attention to kitchen utensils, appliances, etc… but this place had it all! Through and through, they thought of and prepared for every small detail, and they were as great as the rest of this house! Can’t recommend it enough, and look forward to coming back!

This was the perfect accommodations for our family D.C. trip. It had everything we needed. The place was spacious and easily accommodated the six of us. The outdoor space was a great plus. The special touches throughout the house were a great perk. The hosts were accessible and very responsive.

Spring Break
Our family of six stayed here and this home had everything we needed to feel at home. The little touches were great. The third floor bedroom was very warm and the skylight windows didn’t have screens which really hindered the kids ability to get some fresh air up there. The cleanliness was good. It was so wonderful to have the space for everyone and the hosts were extremely helpful. Around the front door needs attention as trash had compiled in the leaves. Overall a beautiful home and would for sure stay again!
