I got a really good vibe from my stay at U Hostel. The check-in was smooth and the staff really kind and welcoming. The coffee shop inside was a huge bonus and is fairly priced. I had a cracking nights sleep. It is hands down the comfiest bed, duvet and pillow I've ever come across at a hostel - all memory foam and very cosy. The location is a little while away from the attractions, but I walked and got the subway and was not an issue at all. There's a few great food spots less than a minute walk away too - including the famous Ben's Chilli spot!

U Street Hostel is the place to stay! The staff is AMAZING, having the GOKI app to communicate and check-in is perfection, and a special shoutout to Ty at the front desk! This is the second time I've stayed and it's the perfect location, at the perfect price, with perfect cleanliness, and overall AWESOME!

Check in was a little complicated. There's afternoon hours where there is no front desk person. I had to pay for my room still so I couldn't check in until I did. Trying to pay through their app was horrible bc the agent was taking 15-20 minutes to reply to each message. Luckily a front desk person showed up and helped me with my payment. I got in the room and didn't know I had to use a specific pod. I just took one that seemed unused and reset. They told me later I took someone else's pod, we ended up just switching. Just make sure you get your room number and pod number to avoid the confusion. It was comfortable in the pod. The chargers in there didn't work. Also, you aren't allowed to bring food or drink in.

Such a lovely cute place. Pod was super clean, rooms are busy with 18 but so quiet.. the individual vents and slight hum blocks the noise. The electric lockers are a bit of a pain but the staff is super helpful. I will definitely stay here again.
