Loved: the decks; hot tub, roominess, the site, pet friendliness
Hated: the grill, the pool, the management company, wifi
Owners need to: repair walls, clean carpets, update some items (bedspreads, paint, etc.)
The grill: It was just like something you would see in a city park, terrible! Should upgrade to a Weber charcoal or decent propane grill
The pool: ok for kids; too small for adults. The pool steps are difficult to see and need to be marked so people don't trip going into and out of the pool
WiFi: We had to use some third party software to get to the internet; it was not compatible with the antivirus software in one of our computers. Don't understand why they couldn't provide us with network id & password.
Management company: did a poor job of keeping us informed of the status of the property after the hurricane. We were informed when the road was open but it did not answer questions about the condition of the house. We paid to have 3 beds made before arrival, but none were. Informed us repeatedly about garbage pickup but did not see fit to tell us that workers were going to enter the house (using the door code) to change air filters. Hatteras workers entered the house immediately after we left but the company did not know we had checked out.
