Quaint rustic cabin nestled in the trees at the end of the property. Very clean and had plenty of kitchen supplies…many more than you’ll need…15 wine glasses, a dozen plates, 15+ coffee mugs. Lol. Generally very quiet and peaceful, until bedtime, when a small local dog that we affectionately named “Pookey” barked nonstop every night until about 2am. Ask us how we know.
The nearest “city” is about 30 minutes away, and major attractions for hiking, fishing and boating may take an hour to reach, but well worth the drive. A picturesque and beautiful area of the country for sure.
I might recommend that instructions be available for lighting the propane heater. We didn’t really need it but finally figure out how to light it on our own in case we did need it. Also, there were multiple remote controls throughout the cabin, and through trial and error we figured out how to work the TV and sound bar behind the TV. Having labels and instructions for those would be helpful.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, albeit we missed out on some sleep thanks to Pookey.
