strongly disapointed
Upon arrival at our VRBO we were very impressed by the appearance of the home and the view from the outside. It appeared to be very will kept. When we entered the home there was a slight pet odor. Upstairs the smell of cat urine was stronger, and we found a litter box in a closet. we contacted the host who asked us to set it outside. The next morning was when the rest of the problems arose ad when we contacted the host, we were dismissed on all of our concerns as listed: Only 4 washcloths (host adamantly states she left 6). Bathmat in master bathroom soiled and still wet with cat urine (host states she does not have a cat any longer and is has been months since she has had one). Cat food still on the floor in the master bath, (host claims house cleaners were just here hours before we arrived, however, floors weren't swept, dust on furniture, countertops sticky, empty yogurt container and spoon left oh fireplace hearth. Large picture window and smaller window with no covering (direct view into shower from neighbors' side yard and shared driveway). No place to hang clothing host said there were hooks on the back of the bathroom doors (you cannot hang an evening gown on a bath hook). When we asked for checkout instructions, we were told to do nothing. However, we fell we left the house in a better condition than we found it. The most agree Guse part of the entire situation is how dismissive the host was to all of our concerns.
