We booked this last minute when we checked out of another awful hotel in Tongariro. This was blissful in comparison. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. A 20 minute walk down to the riverside, we found this charming artistic community just lovely. It is just off the main road, but traffic noise was definitely not an issue for us.

We had the accessible unit. It was very poorly finished as to build quality. The regular units are of more acceptable quality in my experience as we have stayed before. The welcome was kind and friendly so the poir quality of the room was off putting.

Pleasant and central motel

Room recently refurbished- clean and tidy. No recycling system - everything had to go in rubbish bin. Need to depart out glass, plastics and cans to recycle as in other cities. Ants (small) were a nuisance.
