We were there for only one night. The staff were very friendly. The rooms looked like they were improved and upgraded but our room had a strong disinfectant smell and the bathroom smelled like mildew. The parking lot is small so if you get there at night, you’ll need to park on the street or two blocks away in a public parking lot.

We had to switch rooms the first night, as the bathroom sink would not drain. We tried to plunge it, but it still didn’t work. The front desk clerk was very fast in bringing us a plunger to use and then also with switching our room, so that was nice. Parking was tight and hard to come by. Our 2nd room was better, but still had some stains on the washcloths. Outside noise was very loud on the front wall of the room. The location was good and within walking distance of all of downtown.

Property is in process of upgrading but rooms are small, the bathroom sink drained very slowly and the bath/toilet area was in great need of repainting and cleaning of walls. When the slow drawing sink was reported to the front desk, the employee claimed he was surprised, not very convincingly.

Make no mistake about it, this is a motel, not a hotel, and not a very nice one at that. This is the level of a place you'd expect to pay 59.99 if you were on a road trip and stopped at a roadside motel...maybe even 49.99. I paid $215 for my one night here. The room was tiny, bathroom hadn't seen a remodel in at least 40 years, grout was dirty, stains in and around the tub. The room was extremely loud. I happened to have a wall adjacent to the elevator and that was very loud. I also happened to be next to the maid/service room. At around 8:30 - 8:45 on Saturday morning there were a trio of Hispanic maids yelling (having a very loud conversation) with one another in Spanish right outside my door. Extremely annoying. When I went to checkout I was planning on mentioning something to the attendant that my experience was quite poor... but... naturally there was no one at the front desk so after a minute or two I just left. I get that it's all about location, and of the $215 I spent I'd say about $165 was paying for location and $50 went towards the accommodations. If I had to do it again, I would stay a mile away at a much nicer place for less money and use the leftover money on Uber into town.

Guy at check-in was fabulous. Cute and in-town. Need to invest in towels that weren’t ratty and stained, sheets that didn’t have holes and ink stains on them, and perhaps curtains so that other guests couldn’t peek in at you. We checked out after one night of a four night reservation

The location of this hotel is great. That is the only thing it has going for it. The heater/air conditioner front panel fell off in the middle of the night on its own. The second day we did not have housekeeping service and when we asked at the front desk we were told that they didn’t have enough rooms booked so they did not have housekeeping come to work. There was no communication to us that this was going to happen and we had to ask for fresh towels, etc. There was a lot of noise during the night like they were working in some of the rooms. The stairs to get to the second floor were bumpy and were not safe. The bathroom had black mold around the caulking, cracked tiles in the bathroom. The shower head was so low. The side chair was so soiled that I would not sit in it.
