Overall a very good stay

3-night stay. Good location for the seminar I was attending at Manitoba University. Clean room, comfortable bed (Although I found the pillows were quite lumpy). Restaurant downstairs had a good variety for breakfast and for dinner and the food was really good. Overall a very good stay.

Great location

We have stayed here before and appreciate all the renovations. The room was spotlessly clean. If you like a cooler room, then you will struggle to lower the temperature. The self serve coffee bar in the lobby is a nice touch.

Poor experience due to staff

Two things annoyed us on our trip to Winnipeg. Pool was supposed to be open until 11, at 1045 a worker comes in to start his cleaning duties and shuts the lights off and tells us that the pool is closed. Clearly posted on multiple signs that the pool is open until 11. Checkout is at noon, at 930 we receive a knock on the door from the maids asking if we are leaving soon. Clearly trying to get into rooms ahead of time so they are done early. If you are unable to clean rooms between checkout and check in time, then you need to change your checkout time to 10 or 11. Other than that our stay was fine, hotel is showing its age but comfortable.
