The property was nice and clean enough. Before our stay, Christy, contacted me to say I had not paid the pet deposit. I told her I was upfront about all guests and one pet under 20 lbs. She said in the future, pay that pet deposit with the rest of the charges. I would have gladly paid all pet deposits had the VRBO website asked for one. We made a deal that she would waive the deposit if i promised to pay a $50 charge if her housekeeper found dog hair on the furniture. Our stay was great but while at breakfast, after our check out, Christy called and said We have a big problem! You had 2 dogs there, because someone from the house next door told her they saw 2 dogs, and there's wads of dog hair in the floor and dog food in the bathroom floor..I told her that was incorrect because i boarded my own animals so we could comply with the pet restrictions at the cabin. Then she said, the contractors next door saw the little dog in the sweater along with a Husky so i know you had 2 animals. I told her i have no way to prove whether i had 2 animals or not since we checked out so I'll just pay the $50 we agreed on. I do not appreciate being called a liar when i have been 100% above board with all occupants and my agreement was to keep him off the furniture..which we did! If this host is going to be renting this cabin in the future, she needs some work on her interpersonal skills. I will not be recommending this host nor her properties..zero stars for calling me a liar.
