Extremely disappointed with service, cleanliness and facilities. Room has no refrigerator, no AC, no microwave. Spiders and flies will live with you, spiders on the bed. Would have rated ok if it was a cheap property but after paying premium I do expect some service, facility and cleanliness. They had a dining area which was good but that’s open to public so no advantage of staying here as such

Stayed in the cabins of Canyon Lodge for 4 days, reserved 2 adjacent cabins. Room Cons: bed sheets too small for the bed, they kept coming off each night; carpets were dirty, stained; room had old musty odor; inside of the front doors on both cabins had some weird splotchy stains on them, no one bothered to clean them; bed sheets had splotchy blood stains in one spot (looks like it was washed but the stain didn’t come out), the blanket had dried up crusty dark gunk on the top portion; asked for housekeeping service twice and twice they said they would send someone and twice they didn’t; asked for an iron at the front desk and the very young gum chewing man had to check their policy—no irons in rooms, if I wanted to use the iron they had, I’d have to bring my clothing item to the main lodge and ask to use housekeeping’s iron (we had a nice dress up dinner to attend at the fancier Lake Dining Room and needed to iron the wrinkles out of my husband’s shirt). Room pros: very large rooms, quiet location, clean bathrooms. Dining cons: expensive lousy food at the Eatery and the Grill (mushy tasteless rice, bland eggs, mass produced pulled pork lacked flavor, I could go on). Just about everything we tried was terrible. Dining pros: Roosevelt Lodge and Lake Dining Room are the only places to get a good meal, pricier but at least the food actually tastes like someone knew how to cook. Unfortunately we couldn’t go there every day since both were 30-40 minutes away.

We stayed in one of the newer lodges, Chittenden. The room was nice. For the price, you expect more but it is convenient to be in the park. Breakfast in Canyon Village is rough since only one restaurant is open and the pickins are slim! Lunch is a little better in Canyon Village. There is a sit down restaurant in Grant Village if you're in that area at that time.

Although there's no setting in the park without great scenery, Canyon lodges are my favorite; there are dining and shopping options within walking distance, the rooms are nice and newer, you can hike to the canyon rim in 15 min or less and its nice and peaceful in the evening.

Great location
Stayed in the cabins. Reasonably clean. No TV or Fridge in the cabin. WiFi worked. Great location in center of the park. No central, complementary coffee station at the main building and food/drink places open 0630 onwards, which is late for those looking to catch early morning wildlife,…

Very basic hotel. You can hear everything from adjacent rooms. It's ok to stay a night or two if you want to stay inside the park. Food options are very poor.

The property was fantastic, staff was excellent. Very polite and always helpful…only complaint was the parking, or lack thereof. Because of this, lots of vehicles were clearly parked in handicapped parking. The food was ok, also.

We stayed in one of the newly renovated building lodge buildings. It had everything we needed. please note - this facility does not offer air conditioning. It was cool the we were 45-75 degrees F) so it was not an issue for us. They did have fans in the rooms. Rooms are on the smaller size , but worked well for our family of 3. Extremely convenient for us to get to Lamar Valley, Roosevelt, Canyon, 1/2 hour from Jackson Lake/ Fishing Bridge. Food/Groceries/Welcome center are a very short drive or walk at the next complex. Gas station there as well. WiFi and cell service were spotty. I am very glad we chose this location
