What you can expect

On this visually stunning tour of slot canyons with curving walls, you visit Antelope Canyon and Navajo Nation in a comfortable vehicle seating 14 passengers. Narrated by some of the most experienced guides in the Southwest, this day trip includes frequent stops for photo opportunities. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at the stunning Glen Canyon Dam before casting off to see the majestic Antelope Canyon.

Walk with your Navajo guide as you are lead through the gently carved sandstone of Antelope Canyon. Follow your Navajo guide as you walk through the red-hued slot canyon—a narrow gulch with graceful curves forming the walls—with occasional sunbeams illuminating the passage. With rich morning and afternoon colours as well as light beams from April to September, photo opportunities change as the angle of the sun shifts.

Next, travel through Navajo Nation while hearing about Native American culture and the impressive geology from your guide. Based on the group and time, you may visit sites such as Glen Canyon Dam, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, and a Native American trading post. This tour requires walking for 90 minutes on unpaved, uneven terrain.

Lunch is provided.
