This extraordinary Alpine adventure takes you to the top of Europe to discover the majestic beauty of Jungfraujoch. A cogwheel train leads you through snow-capped peaks to the continent's highest railway station, where you can gaze over neighbouring countries and the longest glacier in Europe.
Journeying from Zurich to Interlaken, where you have a short coffee break to stroll around. Hop on the coach again for the drive to Lauterbrunnen where you board the cogwheel train. Pass by Kleine Scheidegg on your way to Jungfraujoch. Located 11,333 feet (3,454 m) above the ground and connected to the Top of Europe building, Jungfraujoch is Europe's highest railway station.
Upon arrival, you're free to visit the incredible Ice Palace, built in the 1930s by 2 guides who hand-carved the huge hall with nothing but an ice axe and saw. After wandering through this surreal world and taking in its pristine sculptures, move along the Alpine Sensation subway line. Stop at different alcoves to learn more about the region's tourism history.
Continue upward to the Sphinx Observation Terrace for incredible panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Here, take in Europe's longest glacier, the Alestch. When you've had your fill of fresh air and snowy expanses, head back downhill to Grindelwald Terminal with the newly opened Eiger Express. The coach awaits for your comfortable ride back to Zurich.
