Best place to stay in Bangkok

My wife and I fell in love with Chatrium. It was like "Relax, breathe, we are truly happy to see you, let us take care of you" when we arrived. Next level Thai hospitality (if that is possible), Amazing views, friendliest and most accommodating staff, delicious breakfast buffet, easy access to Taxi, ferry to Icon Siam mall. Overall, just a comfortable vibe for weary travelers. Shout out to Cherlyn and Chaiphon, and many others. Things to be aware of: 36km from BKK airport (~1 hr), and the riverboat traffic could be a little noisy for early sleepers (until 9pm-ish in February).

Beautiful hotel, clean and conveniently located on the river. We were in Bangkok for the day and enjoyed the location (conveniently located to attractions by river and still tranquil enough from the huddle and bussle of Bangkok). They provide free shuttle boat ride every half hr to Taksin (stop on their train/ boat systems), where you may grab tuktuk to ICONSIAM (high end shops/ restaurants mall) or after 4pm grab boat to “Asiatique” (outdoor small shops and special, fun activities, grand Ferris wheel). Staff was very friendly, professional and spoke good, clear english (shockingly hard to find in the city). Highly recommend this hotel for its friendly staff, cleanliness, location. We stayed in suite with terrace beautiful view of river, room was very spacious has kitchenette, living room and bedroom. Enjoy your stay!

We had a lovely, spacious suite overlooking the river on the 26th floor. Watching river traffic day and night was mesmerizing. We never wanted to leave the room. Buffet breakfasts had ample selections of Thai and Western food and were very satisfying. Service was exemplary. Having the hotel shuttle available made it easier to get to the Sathorn station where we were able to get ferry service to the major temples. Definitely staying on the Chao Phraya River at the Chatrium was the best choice.

Great location

We loved the Chatrium. The room was large with a balcony. The bed was very comfy and the breakfast was amazing. It was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our 3 week journey. Pool was also very nice. We liked that they had the boat and that we could walk from the train station and to asiatique mall. I also left my iPad and the found it and had it delivered to another hotel for me. They went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Amazing hotel! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Plus, the complimentary boat made travelling to IconSiam and the Grand Palace so easy. Very nice pool area and family friendly. Would highly recommend staying here!

It was a nice stay and the rooms are very spacious. While there was an odor in the room coming from the link or drainage, and cleanliness can be better. It was overall a really nice stay.
