Disappointing stay

Our baby sitter had to cancel two days before we were due to go so I emailed and I called around 25 times to try and get to through the front desk to inform them it took two days and constant calling to get through they said a sofa bed and cot will be put out for when we got there. When we got there check in was easy and we went to our room there was no cot in the room so I tried calling the reception with no avail so had to go down to request the cot again. The sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable it would have been comfier on the floor. Once we were asleep all we could hear was cars and people going past shouting all night I understand we are in the city centre but we’ve stayed here a few times and been on the bottom floor and didn’t hear a thing this was a top floor junior suite and it sounded like the window was open all night turns out on of the windows wasn’t double covered like the other windows. So no one had a restful sleep.

The hotel is stunning, its right in the centre of Bristol, 5 minutes walk from the Hippodrome Theatre. Very close to the harbour. We loved the stay at this hotel.
