Did not feel like a 4*. Uncomfortable bedding. The bedding had various bumps from different layered sheets that didn’t cover the entire bed surface. Room had various marks and wall panels out of alignment. It felt a bit tired. I found the room uncomfortably hot. There is no air conditioning as indicated. The hotel controls the heating and cooling for all rooms - confirmed by speaking to reception who were unable to allow me to cool my room more as the hotel’s system was in “winter mode”. On the plus side, the room was very quiet.

No-frills short stay
Stayed 2 nights asa stopover from Amsterdam toward London. The hotel itself was conveninently located right above Brussel-Midi, where the Eurostar and local trains were all located, and 2-3 train/tram stops away from the main city centre where all the sights were. This location is the main reason why we stayed and I would say the convenience is much recommended to folks who want a short and convenient stay in Brussels. The room itself was fine and served its purpose.

Okay stay, but beware of the smell of sewage.
My stay was ok, but i will not be returning. The biggest problem was the overwhelming nasty smell of sewage, as soon as you stepped into the hotel. This smell could not be ignored and it wafted upstairs to the dining area, which affected my dining experience. This smell stayed with me long after I left the hotel.

We were on vacation for our wedding anniversary and stayed at the Pullman for a couple of days. They had a beautiful handwritten note and some chocolate waiting for us in the room, we also got complementary cocktails. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station which helped us a great deal in our travels. The concierge who checked us in (GIFT) was very polite and helpful .

Moved out of Belgium after 7 years so stayed at Pulman as convenient for the eurostar. Didn't bother with breakfast as had early start. The hotel doesn't allow early checkins but kept our bags until 3pm checkin time. We stayed in room 305 with a bath. Would certainly recommend the hotel, obviously be careful around midi station, its rough. Saying that we used a bar opposite and walked back and forward to central via Rue Stalingrad, with no issues
