We really enjoyed the cabin, relaxing on the patio, feeling and hearing the wind blowing through the trees, bird watching, and walking the dogs. It was a great respite from the heat in Phoenix. The cabin's elevation meant cool mornings and evenings, and its location meant peace and solitude. The cabin had all the needed amenities; even in July, it stayed cool enough not to miss not having air conditioning.
A previous reviewer complained about the bed in the master bedroom, which appears to have now been replaced with a firm and comfortable mattress.
The upstairs loft is a giant space! We cooked all of our meals at the cabin, and didn't feel the need to leave, other than visiting the nearby country store, Lake Mary, and a disc golf course.
