Very disappointing
I have several complaints and suggestions 1 I was only informed after I had paid and booked that I needed a special vehicle to get to the property. I was expecting luxury for that price. There is no where to sit in the bedroom and use a computer or fir a woman to do her make up. There were no tissues there was no milk on the butlers tray there is nothing to put your suitcase on except the floor or the bed I was not offered a starter for dinner nor bread. My bottle of sparkling water was not opened or poured. The dinner was mashed potato and fried fish with two carrots and three green beans there was no serviette at breakfast I was told the TV in my room did not work and there was no mini bar in the room. When zi arrived and was shown into my room there were two crumpled sheets left in the couch.
Trying to reach anyone was a nightmare emails and phone calls not answered. Directions to the lodge on Google are incorrect which apparently is known to the on-site Manager . He eventually answered my phone to say I was lost and needed him to come and assist me. I was asked to do my own online check in via WhatsApp instead of email which is normal and convenient especially as I am a visitor from the UK all in all the price is exhorbitant fir this poor service. The staff at the property were very kind and did their best but not up to luxury hotel standards I had just come from a luxury hotel in Plettenberg Bay that is half the price but gave what I call luxury service .
