My stay was amazing on this beach front property! The unit was clean, albeit a little dated, and had plenty of space for a work/play trip. The view and direct ocean sounds are stunning. I spent my time mostly NW of the location in Kapaa, but also moseyed to Princeville, Poipu, and other areas of the island. A 1.5ish mile (it's probably not even that far) stroll lands you at the closest market place, and it's an easy/breezy walk across the bridge and sidewalk. Closest bus stop, and bus is completely decent and reliable, nearby as well. Grab some snacks at the stores and stock up for all the adventures. There's no restaurant or stores on-site, but I knew that going in. There's a small pool, but it's completely fine for a quick dip at day's end. Lots of folks seemed to be using the bbq's as well, and were cheerful to chat and share. Beachfront directly by unit *is* swimmable, but not entirely recommended given coral and rock. Walk, 2 mins to the left and Lyndgate state park is right there. It's a locals beach, so you know pretty darn decent. Great playground there too, with plenty of lounging and parking available. Unit location is <10mins drive from Lihue (airport). I did not have a car (i know this is a thing right now...), but did completely fine with uber/lyft and bus. Give yourself a window of time if you're trying to catch one, and you'll be fine. It's island time :).
