The house itself was pretty nice. The online description was accurate. The extra amenities at the community area were great. We did find some issues with the home, such as the couch being overly worn and uncomfortable, the dishwasher was broken (it had been glued previously, but the glue wore off), a torn bed sheet, the dryer took hours and hours to dry clothes, and there was a leak in the laundry room. None of it ruined our stay, though. It was all just a nuisance. The main reason for the low rating is the management company, Wonder Vacation Homes. Their communication is terrible! They never returned my phones calls and rarely responded to texts/emails. We received initial messages from them saying to communicate through their portal, but I didn't get responses when I'd message through that.
I later was told over the phone that they don't have access to it. The day before our arrival, an employee, Elys, was so rude and unaccommodating over the phone. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me no before hanging up on me. I also asked in a later text for a manager to contact me, but no one did. They also sent us multiple "statements" in the month prior to our arrival with different prices on each one. We felt the company was shady and unreliable. Look them up on the Better Business Bureau...they have terrible reviews. I wish we had done that prior to booking. The rental company is who takes care of you (or doesn't) for your stay, so it's important to have a good one.
