Wow, what a lovely stay. The grounds are just precious, with magical views and all of nature's blessings surrounding you. The hosts were so so kind- we were gifted with a bottle of wine our first night, and came home to fresh plums picked from their gardens in a bag hanging on our door with a sweet note. Having just come from an AirB&B a few hours away that was beyond disappointing, this was a relief. Hosts matter, as do clear instructions on all the amenities, gadgets etc. in which they very much offered. In a world where rentals are becoming more and more cookie cutter and stale, this was a breath of fresh air (literally)! Just one request- a real iron would be so appreciated by dorks like us who sometimes iron our clothes meticulously, as we tried to do for our anniversary dinner here but really couldn't. Overall I can't recommend this place more. They have the most glorious picnic basket available that I've ever seen- I gasped over it and have been searching for a similar one ever since (with no luck). If you want to wake to roosters crowing, mystical cloud formations over the water, and eat fresh eggs from hens just a whisper away, don't hesitate. Bliss!
