We really enjoyed this property, it was very spacious - ample living area and TV area that was very comfortable for 5 adults. Many blankets/coverlets to curl up with on the couch. The pantry was VERY well stocked and BONUS - the popcorn supplies were GREAT! We loved ringing the bell for the resident deer (the one with the smallish "orange colored" horns was a little bully - hopefully he grows out of it) and also watching the stellar jays, spotted towhees and dark eyed juncos taking advantage of the many bird feeders. The property is a short drive from everything on the north side of the peninsula (from Port Townsend to Lake Crescent area). Not to miss is: Hurricane Ridge (even in foggy/snowy weather we enjoyed the challenge), Salmon Cascades (on the way to Sol Duc Hot Springs), Marymere Falls (and hikes in that area), hiking along the Elwa river, Murdock Beach (very unique rocks found there - cannonball, "tortoise rocks", fossilized rocks, agates etc). Safeway grocery was a few minute drive from the house as was the visitor center for the Olympic park. The neighborhood was very nice with large homes and big open yards. We would stay there again.
