I had a wonderful stay at Avani Bangkok. The location is absolutely perfect, with easy access to all the key spots in the city. The views from the hotel are breathtaking, and the proximity to major attractions is unbeatable. The nightlife at the hotel added to the overall experience, making it a great place to relax and enjoy. I highly recommend Avani Bangkok for anyone visiting the city!

We stayed a week here and this is a fabulous property that hooks up with the rest of Bangkok via a regular river shuttle. The main destination is a very famous mall but there is a drop off for the sky train as well. The breakfast buffet is incredible and the roof top infinity pool is lovely for sunning and enjoying the view. There is a great rooftop nightclub and foody scene that just wasn't our thing but seemed popular. The adjoining sister hotel felt very peaceful and classy with the option to enjoy their amenities as well. Lots of dining options in the area for every budget. The spa is in a beautiful setting and worth experiencing. There is also a business just up the block for more affordable massages at ridiculous prices and it was good too but not the same ambiance. I highly recommend this hotel as a place to wind down at the end of a day and be away from bustling areas of city. If a night time river view and the charm of hopping on and off a boat is your thing then it will be perfect for you.

They definitely need to up their comms skills
The place is acceptable, their breakfast is good and location could be better but it's acceptable. Their river transport is quite bad. They made us wait for over an hour in at least one of our trips. Their concierge could barely speak English. Bring your own guidebook and you'll be much better served. The reception clerk spent way more time investigating my passport than providing clear instructions re the property. Their pool was unusable. Some good views of the bay but most definitely no information re Bangkok, its attractions, transport and many other areas. Definitely not a 5Star property although the pricing is 5Star for Bangkok. Go somewhere else.

The staff were all friendly, attentive, and well-trained. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The rooftop restaurant is excellent and has a beautiful view overlooking the Chao Phraya river. This is one of the best hotels in Bangkok, would stay again!
