How is this property four star? The reception and reception staff was nice, but that was the only highlight. The room was dirty. Bugs in the bed. The floor made our feet very dirty. The bathroom had black mould. Every time someone flushed a toilet, we heard every bit of plumbing ALL NIGHT LONG. The hotel is very loud and we didn’t sleep well at all. We were initially booked in for three nights but only managed one. We moved to Hotel Catalonia which is also a four star hotel and the difference is STARK. This hotel needs a serious reevaluation. It’s closer to a one or two star hotel, at best.

This hotel was perfect for a weekend stay in Barcelona. The room was tidy and spacious, the amenities provided were suitable too. We checked in at 2am and the man on reception was friendly and welcoming. It's a bit far out from the centre but my partner and I love walking so it was no problem, however if you prefer there are buses available or taxis with Bolt. The breakfast was good and the dinner options were also decent. There's a small pool under the hotel too which is was nice and relaxing.

Poor wifi, but the room is clean.
The breakfast buffet price is same for adults and baby under 3s which is very unreasonable so not recommend for family with young kids. Also the wifi is not working which cause us lots of trouble. Other things are good.

Rooms could be more spacious for a 4 star hotel (also consider adding a couple of hangers on the doors), but overall very good hotel, in a quieter (business) part of the city. Lovely service and uniquely built.

I recently stayed here, and while the entire experience was pleasant, what truly stood out was their kitchen and kitchen staff. The meals were simply exceptional—each dish was crafted with care, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. However, what made it even more special was the warm and friendly kitchen staff. They were not only highly skilled but also very engaging, always ready to share the stories behind the dishes and offer personalized recommendations. Their passion for food and hospitality was evident in every meal, making dining at the hotel the highlight of my stay. If you’re a food lover, this is the place to be!

Hotel is definitely showing it's age and location in an industrial area. It was hard to get a cab since it is technically outside the city limits and according to one driver, no one wants to come out that far. Staff was no help in getting one either. They just told us to get an Uber, but you have to wait on average about 30 min. The hotel was generally clean and a good location for walking to the Congress center. Breakfast was ok. Nothing stellar, but it was well stocked. Staff were generally unhelpful. No one actually staffed the bar area. My colleague accidentallly ran into the glass door in the lobby and staff did nothing to help, not even offering ice or a bandage even though she was bleeding heavily from the head and broke her glasses. In the states, staff would have been tripping over themselves to be helpful. I couldn't even get the front desk gal off the phone to even acknowledge what had happened. Very unprofessional and disappointing. I won't stay there again.

I would not stay here ever again. The bed was an old metal spring bed that groans and squeaks as soon as you sit on it. The bed dipped toward the middle leaving my partner sleeping in the middle of the bed and me clinging to the edge trying not to fall on him. I woke up many times through the night and had a sore back next day. The room is tiny and cramped and very old decor, feels dark and unpleasant. The curtains were not exactly clean. The bathroom had a metal stand the towels were sitting on that was rusty, and other signs of rust. The shower door was a bit broken and didn't close properly resulting in a flooded floor. The minibar was a plus, and there was plenty of wardrobe space to hang the clothes. Wifi didn't work well in the room. The breakfast was a mixed bag. They were serving tinned mushroom and fruit (in addition to fresh fruit) but the omelette and bacon were real enough and decent. There were plenty of pastries and some good looking desserts, I tried the baked apple which was nice. The location is not convenient at all and a long walk to the public transport when you have suitcases. I can't believe how much they are charging for the experience I had and will choose somewhere else next time.
