Positives: It’s a very opulent hotel within walking distance of all the attractions. The room I had was beautifully designed and very spacious with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. Amazing bathroom Extremely clean Bathrobes and slippers for spa use A nice spa area Very quiet hotel. A bottle of water on first day. Negatives. There are no staff to help with suitcases. Water was not replenished in the room which is unusual for a five star hotel The reception staff were not very friendly It’s very quiet and the lounge area which is beautiful, was always empty. I’m surprised about this. It’s a shame because this hotel has way more potential.

This is far from a 5* hotel. It’s definitely the worst 5* hotel I’ve ever been too. Room was too noisy and cleanliness rather disappointing. Bed was uncomfortable. Staff at reception was useless and clearly annoyed to be there. Overall a really poor experience for a 5* hotel, wouldn’t recommend it

I am obsessed with the Ana Palace! I just loved staying here. Extremely gracious and helpful checkin experience, the associate took time show us all the great neighborhoods and gave great food recommendations. Complementary champagne in the lobby! The rooms were huge, we booked two junior suites for a group of 5 and we were very comfortable. Robes and slippers for everyone. The spa and pools were amazing. I could have stayed another week just for those. The neighborhood is excellent, just a block from the Danube and a couple from Parliament. Close to a lot of cafes and restaurants too. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest, great value.

What a beautiful hotel with excellent service!
One of the most beautiful, nicest hotel I have ever stayed. I travel a lot throught Europe, Asia, North America and I can say without hesitation that from service, to cleanliness, to location, the hotel is fantastic. Noelia, Ayla, Jaime at the front desk and dedicated team of people at the breakfast area.... everyone is amazing. Not a single word I can say negative about this hotel. Impeccable in every possible way. Would stay anytime again and will HIGHLY recommend to all.

Probably one of the most beautiful properties to stay. It’s a stones through of the parliament building. Fantastic staff. They’re used to dealing with dignitaries so there’s no time for novice personnel there. They’re great.

By no means is this a 5 star hotel. The only 5 star about it was the room size and the breakfast room. We wouldn’t have known this wasn’t a 5 star, if we hadn’t stayed for the first time at one the previous week in Vienna (the Sacher Hotel) - Ana palace wasn’t even close to 5 stars. They did provide champagne at checkin, but the first room they gave us was not the room we actually booked. It was dirty with hair and dirty eyelashes in and on both beds. The rug in the suite room was worn and dirty. Dust bunnies on the floor. Overall massive hair everywhere problem, which may not be big to some but to me it is the really unsettling. They did change our room when we requested…to the one we actually booked, only then is when we realized they’d given us a different room than the one we booked. The breakfast was delicious and staff nice, but even the staff seemed unhappy. There was no one to help carry our luggage, just a very petite young woman, so we did it ourselves. Not a big deal if this were a 3 star hotel. They never changed our sheets the 4 nights we stayed and no refills on soap/shampoo/conditioner when they started us off with nearly empty bottles. They do have a great mineral bath but again not a 5 star level. Overall I would have paid a little more to stay at a true 5 star. The biggest pain is the feeling of false advertising - you cannot say you are 5 stars when you in fact are not, don’t get tricked like we did thinking this is 5 stars, just because they say it is.

Unqualified Staff, most do not even speak the local language (!) but they give you papers to sign in Hungarian (hahaha). Can't pay with Amex if you want to pay in local currency, used Visa and they still bill you in Euro (making money on the exchange!). I got a paraplegic room in the rooftop (not alike the other floors), still had to pay the normal rate. Nothing like a 5 Star, 3 Star at best. Sad for Budapest!

A Pleasant Stay with Room for Improvement
stayed at Ana Palace by Eurostars Hotel Company in Budapest from July 11th to 14th, 2024. The hotel has a fantastic location and is exceptionally clean, with a charming ambiance. However, there were a few issues: Staff: Few and inexperienced, leading to slower service. Bar: Needs an upgrade with a better selection. Spa: Confusing layout, no staff present, and the sauna only turns on at 1 PM, which is inconvenient. Despite these areas needing improvement, the overall experience was nice. I recommend it for its cleanliness and great location.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! I rarely write reviews but this place was so good I wanted to share. It’s a charming and historic building both inside and out. The location is fantastic! Quiet but walkable to everything. The staff were so friendly and helpful and went out their way to ensure our stay was excellent. They even left a treat and balloons in our room for my daughter’s birthday without us even mentioning it. We pre purchased the breakfast and it is amazing you will not want to miss it! This was a lovely hotel and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!
