Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
Pros:
*Clean, conveniently located right downtown Hamilton.
*Large modern rooms with comfy bed and pillows
*Great views from the room (17th floor)
*Starbucks coffee for breakfast
*Nice bar on second level with good pub and restaurant food, good variety menu. Great cold beer
*friendly staff
Cons:
*Not safe to walk around especially at night, but still the safest hotel in that area. Lots of homeless people still roam around and many unsavoury characters right in front of the hotel entrance. Police is nowhere to be seen at any hour of the day.
*Small hotel parking lot. Already full when I got there, had to park in the nearby/attached shopping centre parking (and no valet parking).
*Breakfast food was way below expectations: the scrambled eggs were not real, not sure what kind of processed ingredients they used, tasted like plastic. Bread, potatoes and little sausages were cheap and tasteless, low end grocery store level. Bacon was excellent.
All that being said, I liked it, and I will still gestation there again if I have to; it’s, still the best and safest hotel in Hamilton that I know of.
