There were lots of little bugs on two of the beds and the hotel was quiet tired looking

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Excellent value for money with kind helpful staff
We enjoyed our stay. The staff we met were really friendly. They were all very polite and helpful. Our room was small but adequate. The bathroom was great with a fantastic double size shower. Lots of hot water and nice towels. It was a little diamond in the rough. We would definitely recommend and have already booked to stay again next week.

Good price, but no free WiFi or shuttle to airport
I called the hotel from the airport 5 times in 30 mins, every time phone was either not picked up, or picked up and hanged up right away.
When I got at the hotel, the free WiFi advertised on the website, was not free.
The highlight of my stay was the amazing 3 course buffet dinner for £12.50. Nice location, lots of comfortable common areas, large beautiful garden, Clean rooms, nice location for Gatwick airport. Negatives were dirty general toilet near the reception and about £10 per day additional for WIFI access in rooms but free WIFI in communal areas.
Good quality accommodation ,But our room had no opening window only a sky light
The TV Was inoperative, Tried ever remote button menus etc to no-avail.
Very accommodating even tho we had arrived at 3am as we had a cancelled flight from Manchester so had to drive to Gatwick for an alternative

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
The property and facilities were good, with plenty of easy parking. Food & drink reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly. HOWEVER - We had booked a double room and were given a twin, this didn't bother us too much as we were only staying 1 night. The room was hot but we had a fan. My husband fell sleep about 10.15pm and I was sat on the bed with just a towel over me watching tv when I heard a key in the door and a foreign guy (Scandinavian looking) popped his head round the door, saw me sat on the bed with just a towel over me and said 'oowww sorry, sorry, sorry' and swiftly disappeared. We were both tired so propped a chair against the door but didn't really relax until midnight when we knew check-in was over. When we went down to breakfast the next morning they didn't have our room down for breakfast. We explained what had happened during the night and the waiter went off to reception to check we had paid for breakfast and on his return explained there had been a mix-up with the rooms and we had been given the key to the wrong room at check-in. When mentioning it to reception they apologised and were going to make a note to switch our room but we said we were only staying 1 night, it was more of a security issue that 2 keys had been given out to the same room and in a case of a fire they would not have been able to account for everyone safely and our experience could've been a more terrifying experience for an older couple for family with youn children.
When we checked in it was late 11pm they gave us our room key we went to our room opened the door and there was already a couple in the room who were in bed and very shocked when we opened the door, gave them a fright!! We then had to go back to the reception to ask for another room we were given one it was a hot night the room didn’t have a window!!
This property was very hot and because we had to have the windows open it was very noisy too. It was very clean, and staff friendly, breakfast was adequate but I would not purchase it again. It is very tired and could do with redecorating as all a bit drab.
Huge hotel, checked in and got my keys no problem but upon finding my small room, I discovered it had NO windows!!!!!
When I spoke with the receptionist no manager available and was informed if I wanted a window should have booked an executive room !!! So said for clarity in this hotel you actually charge extra for a window?? Yes sir !!
I am not sure about the legality of the as I am sure you must have a point of escape??
So it is a very expensive Prison Cell
