We loved the location of this hotel. It was easy and convenient to talk everywhere, especially the main tourists attractions. The hotel is old but has been renovated. The only downside is the room itself. Shower is tiny, electric plugs are there but in strange locations so its difficult to use them. (Ex. Had to use their own hair dryer in the dark hallway by the door, just awkward. The plug in the bathroom was not the same) Lightning inside is dark so it was really difficult to get ready and do makeup (women problems). Plus as a Platinum VIP expedia member, they did not offer a "free" upgrade. They told us they did have upgrades available but it was 250 pounds per night. So not very accomodating there. Anyways, overall it was an ok experience. Location was the best of all.

Overall, the room was clean and tidy, but it lacked natural light and was smaller than we anticipated. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive a complimentary upgrade, and when we inquired, we were offered an upgrade for an additional £300.

The hotel location is EXCELLENT! Big Ben is just steps away!!! The hotel was very clean & this was so appreciated. The hotel was also much bigger than expected! Rooms were a bit small & outdated but if you’re out sightseeing you’re never in the room anyway! Warning: Fragrant scent is very strong when walking in!

Great location and hotel
I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and for good reason. Great location and the accommodation is well presented and elegant. Rooms are of a good size and the bathrooms are well appointed. The only down side on this occasion was that my booking was lost in the system. Hotel could not locate it and hotels.com itinerary was not acceptable at the hotel. After multiple attempts at the checkin and trying to work through hotels.com help page, we had to rebook and put holds on our credit cards again to check-in. This was after 2 hours of trying to sort it out. Eventually checked into room at around 11pm. Spent another hour through the night, trying to sort out booking through help portal. Eventually fixed up by breakfast time in the morning, so no real time to enjoy our stay. Room was cleaned prior to checkout which made it a little awkward to pack and shower prior to departure.
