You get what you pay for with London hotels and this hotel is at the lower end of the price spectrum. However, windows that are jammed open, showers that spray all over the bathroom floor aren’t acceptable. Overall, very poor.

The location is great. Most of the staff were non responsive when guests asked for basic amenities. The manager was rude and harsh with guests. They were understaffed and we waited in line for 10-20 minutes at the front desk for anything you needed.
They did not clean the rooms daily and in fact we had to go to the front desk daily to get towels and sheets. The manager told some guests that it was not their business model to clean the rooms daily. I saw and heard on at least 4 occasions the manager in loud arguments with guests. One of the guests was thrown out of the hotel for asking why they have to pay more for their room than the last time. I paid extra for an upgraded room and was shocked to see an outdated room with smelly curtains and carpets that were not clean. We had to pay a daily rate for internet in our room which was expensive. I was told if I wanted it for "free" i had to come to the lobby to use the internet there. Very disappointing and I would not stay at this hotel again.
There was as huge queue at check-in and no automated capability, so just had to wait.
The building itself is nice and we heard no noise from the corridor or from adjoining rooms. The room was clean and furniture was in good condition although there was no air-conditioning or ability to set the room temperature.
However, I was very disappointed with the room. I booked a twin room (i.e. twin single beds) as I was sharing with a friend. What we got was two single beds that had been put together to make a huge (king or emperor size) bed. It's a good job we've known each other for 35 years or it could have been very awkward having to share. I won't be booking here again.

Basic but comfy
Only staying for one night. Basic room and the hotel looks like it is in the process of being upgraded, but the bed was comfy and we had no issues with our stay. Would stay there again. Staff very friendly.
Yes, as per other reviews it is dated but it is comfortable and convenient. The check in staff are very friendly and helpful. Perfect hotel for a night stay when seeing concerts at the o2.
