This hotel is a little gem!
The location is excellence if you want to walk to restaurants and entertainment. The Hotel staff was very responsive and polite. The restaurant on site was delicious with great service. Shrimp appetizers and oysters are solid. 200 years and still a going. This hotel is a gem.

I expected newer furnishings and flooring for these prices. The room felt old and stuffy. The carpet smelled moldy and the bathroom smelled. We switched rooms , but the new room had the same problems. The pool is small and also “old”, but refreshing and pool area wash kept clean.

Casa Munras is our go to place to stay every time we come to Monterey. The location is excellent, and our rooms are always super comfy. Esteban is a fabulous restaurant with a beautiful outdoor space.

Nice 2-day stay with property. Very well located if walking the area of Monterey or jumping on the expressway. Hotel was clean and staff was very helpful. Only knock I would say is you can hear the room above you if staying on first floor, so if light sleeper request 2nd floor.

This is an amazing spot to stay at, so relaxing. Beds are comfortable, room in nice and big and the fireplace is an amazing touch to the room. 10/10 recommend.

I have stayed here with my family many times over the last 10-15 years. We choose Casa Munras every time we come to Monterey because it is consistent. The staff are always kind and helpful. The rooms are always immaculate. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. It’s nice to be close to all the big attractions but you don’t feel like you are crowded and it’s not noisy. We love it and will definitely be back on our next trip.
