The location was wonderful and afforded access to many of the important tourist locations. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is no breakfast service except in a deli area which is fine unless you are accessing behind a huge tour group. There are many coffee shops within a block walk. The rooms are very clean, but slightly dated, but certainly comfortable and adequate.

Overall, this property was great. We paid extra for an early check-in and were upgraded to a higher floor, so we had a nice view of the Empire State Building and could even see the Hudson River. All was well until after about an hour after checkout, when I realized that I had left a bag FULL of souvenirs in our room. My husband immediately called the hotel, then called again later in the afternoon, and they claim there is no sign of the bag. Obviously, it was my fault for forgetting the bag, but it seems really hard to believe that a large bag with "Empire State Building" on the side, full of souvenirs, was mistaken for trash or otherwise misplaced. This was a special trip for my son's 8th birthday (his first time in NYC) and the Empire State Building was his first choice of attractions to see. I'm just really bummed that what was otherwise a great experience was marred by this. :(

I invite hotel management to sleep 4 grown ups in a room with 2 double beds. It’s the most uncomfortable experience apt ONLY for a guaranteed sleepless night. We’ve been loyal guests every time we visit NYC which is often but unfortunately this is the last time we will be staying here. Beds are tiny for any couple (and I emphasize me and wife are skinny). I cannot imagine bigger size people possible sleeping 2 in these beds. In addition, bathrooms were filthy with ZERO toiletries. Undoubtedly 3 of our worst nights as all 4 guests had to sleep in the corner of the bed and was still a burden to the person next to us.
