Family vacation
Our overall impression of the house was good. Unfortunately, the start of our vacation was very stressful due to complications with making the payment for the deposit. Upstay kept sending us links that would not work. They were telling us it was our bank that we need to call. We called our bank. Bank told us that it was not them, but it was upstays issue. When speaking with upstay, they told us that they will not let us into the house until they received the deposit. We asked them if they could just charge our credit card. They were not friendly or helpful at all and this went on the night before we were supposed to come and was not resolved until roughly 3 hours before we were supposed to get access to the house. We have still not received our deposit back in our bank account as promised. We have connected with them and are hoping to get it within the next week. It has been 11 business days since we have been home. The house was great, but I will never rent another house through upstay ever again. home.
