This property looks like they haven’t touched it since the late 60s. The patio bar was not bolted and my three-year-old almost fell down and they did not care. They had a king bedroom available, which is what I booked and they put us in two queens when looking on the website, a king was still available as an option! The water temperature in the shower did not stay consistent even if you did not touch it. It ran between extremely hot and extremely cold. Could not shower my toddler there. The blankets on the bed felt like shower curtains. The room was dirty. Dusty and just did not have a clean feel since it was so dim. The TV was not set up properly and it took us 30 minutes to even come close to figuring it out. We had almost given up at that point and we’re going to deal with the child’s fit. I wish I would’ve stayed at literally any other property in the area and considering this was not the cheapest that offered a “free breakfast” Mind you the breakfast was half frozen muffins and stale sugary cereal when there were other bins with labels for other breakfast foods that we were told would not be made.

The Lack of Quality Inn!
DIRTY. Not "Quality Inn" This is an old run down building someone thought they could revive. I will be reporting this Nasty place to the Arizona Board of Health. They do not provide a safe, clean place for you to stay! Run, keep driving, don't stay here!!!! Pictures Do Lie on their site. Bring your own food as the "breakfast" is nil and no coffee available. Told due to midweek. Ummm, it's Friday today! The room is Gross. Prickers in the carpet jam into your feet. Toilet has a substance in it and they can't get it out and don't care. Furniture is chewed up and falling apart. Hallways are freezing. Room is dry and made my nose bleed. Too many bad things to say. I didn't get the room I paid for. They moved me to a pet room with my REGISTERED SERVICE DOG! So now my allergies are going crazy due to other animals being in here prior to me. Pole that braces the upper balcony hangs from it and not connected to the ground. Dangerous stay. I'm out!

The hotel does need an update. I was just there for one night and I didn’t get much of a view since I was in the 1st floor facing the parking lot at the back of the hotel. The only view I had was of the dumpster which had an old mattress resting next to it.

The view of the canyon ia amazing from this hotel. Breakfast variety very good. Stsff vey kind and helpful. Excellent, big and easy parking. Big rooms, kind of outdated but very clean. Easy check in and kind manager.

I mistakenly made a reservation for this property and then tried canceling within the same hour of making it and they refused to cancel. I showed up and explained that what I wanted was a reservation for that day and not the date that I made which was two weeks away. They refused to cancel. And told me to contact Expedia immediately to cancel with them. Expedia told me that the hotel would have to cancel and I told them, they said Expedia would have to cancel payment. Expedia then said they would put in a request with the hotel to cancel. (the same day mind you that I mistakenly made the reservation) and the hotel never canceled the reservation. And I was ended up being charged for the room anyway. Never will I stay with a Quality Inn again. I travel a lot, and never had issues like this with even the cheapest of hotel chains.

The one thing I did not like was the key cards did not work to get in the side doors. We had to walk to the front to the back of the building to get to our rooms. A little inconvenient when you have luggage.

Old But Clean
Hotel is older so alot of things are wearing out. Our room was clean though. Breakfast was typical for a Quality Inn. View is fantastic. Front desk clerk was very nice at checkin and checkout.
