This is my second time coming to this resort, the first time was simply amazing! But man oh man things have changed for the absolute worst! They serve the same crappy food every single day they only prioritize the vip clients. My first was in 2019 they served good LQ and different variety of food and the rooms were a1, but now unless you are vip get ready to have a horrible time! I Will never bring my family to this greedy resort again save your Money or go else where I hear iberostar is great. Oh I forgot how they tried to shove this vip status on us for an absolute ridiculous price. For some service that was just the normal back in 2019!

Totally awesome setting -with mountains rolling down to a jungle ,palm tree beach-great snorkeling out front on a nice coral reef--only draw back and i hate to say it--because place is so cool--poor water pressure 😀

Worst vacation ever! I am disappointed in this resort. This is not a 5 star resort! It’s more of a 3.5. My mother’s room was abnormally full of mosquitoes, maintenance had to come to clear the room. My room had mold and the couch’s cushion was ripped. The resort said my room would be changed within 30 minutes however an hour later I was told that they will fix it. After this so much happened. We had a massage at the beach, but no one showed up. Then we were told that it was in the spa. We did not get much help and by the time we made it to the spa we were told we can only get 10 minutes because we “were late”. When we made the appointment with the manager originally, he asked if we wanted the beach or the spa. There were no accommodations done at all. There were also soooo many flies in the Buffett, all over the food!!! I was concerned of what the kitchen looked like. I am leaving out other issues due to this review becoming lengthy. I ended up paying a cancellation fee and leaving. I was promised a refund if I paid the cancellation fee however, a week later was notified that the resort declined the refund. My reservation was for 7 days and I stayed for 3. The cancellation fee was the total of the 3 days. Guests deserve much better!

It was a lovely older resort. Everything was kept very clean, the staff were ALL amazing from the front desk to the servers to maintenance and everyone that was there! Unfortunately we had big rain for got 4 days out of 7 but the workers went out of their way to make sure everyone was still having a good time. The old buildings could use some update .
