My vacation here was amazing! Beautiful for pools, ocean, and food. The only 2 big issues we had was the power went out several times( mainly at night) when it was humid everyday. And the other issue was trying to have things delivered to the room what we needed. Toilet paper and wash clothes... we repeatedly messaged them over the "whatsapp" like they said and gave us the information and they either didnt respond or did respond and said well send someone there, we waited several hrs and no one came, i then went to the front desk and asked for things personally and they still didnt give me anything. They called people "technicians" "housekeepers"we waited and waited, no one came for hrs. Trying to get things to the room was like "pulling teeth" we also were not really impressed with the restaurants there either. The restaurants were nice and romantic settings, but the food was not good. The buffet was worth going to, they had great food!

Staff was polite. However, there was hair in our tub. We weren’t given clean towels. Our lights and television would not come on. We had no hot water!!! We took cold showers. Then Thursday the lights went off a second time throughout the whole resort not coming on until the next morning. We also had no running water that night and was unable to even flush the toilet!! We missed the first day at the resort and I would like to be compensated for Sunday.

I will never recommend Senator to anyone let alone return to this resort. There were many issues and misconceptions during my stay; let alone the language barrier that persisted. Multiple times when we turned on the shower or tap there was air in the line. Becoming more frequent by the end of our trip was the power outages, they happened about 1-2 times a day but our last night the power went off at least 10 times before I could go to bed. This included everything from the door locks, the wifi, the electricity, and often, the water. Please do not book this resort. Look elsewhere.

The Senator Resort was better than expected. The service and staff were super helpful and friendly. Beach and pool areas were kept clean. The only thing I would suggest is that there be more food options at the buffet. Another downside was the housekeeping in our room. She was unable to properly clean until we gave her a tip. Other than the two mentioned above, our stay ay the Senator Hotel was fantastic! I would definitely stay here again.

Although a nice resort. Theres no alcohol in their drinks. Had 4 glasses of what was supposed to be cabernet at meals. Not even a slight buzz. My gf who hardly drinks, had a few and coupdnt feel it either.
