Great little place
This motel if definitely dated but what motel isn’t? The service was great and the room clean and comfortable. You could tell they take pride in their property because when we checked in they were mowing, leaf blowing, cleaning up spider webs. Plus, there is a great cash only food and ice cream place next door.

It is a older motel and I did not expect too much, it was much cleaner than some of the national chains that I have stayed at though. We were in Standish for a funeral and only needed a place to stay for one night and this motel had 3 rooms available when others in the area were booked up. This was on July 4th and the funeral was on July 5th. It was an okay motel but not really worth $123.00. I elected to pay at arrival during the booking process but received a phone call @9:00 AM the next day asking for my card number, so the pay when you arrive option is not really enforced. They were friendly though and bring your coffee maker.

The room did not have a coffee maker in it. And the coffee maker in the office they did not use. I guess it was there for looks.

Pleasantly surprised. We were expecting a threadbare mom and pop place, and we were pleased to find a clean, modern room. Would definitely stay here again.

The motel itself was wonderful. The staff on the other hand, were rude and unwelcoming. We were there for our wedding, they didn't even say a word to us about it. We got a tiny discount for renting 5 rooms at once. They tried to charge us for an extra room. I lost something there and they claim it's not there. All in all I won't be staying there again.
