Flora Alpina lays out the red carpet as soon as you enter this beautiful hotel. The reception desk staff is do welcoming, giving detailed descriptions of the facilities. Thd spa, sauna, pool and hot tub add to the luxurious feel of this beautiful spot. Hope to come back.

A beautiful peaceful retreat. Absolutely loved this place. Planned on one night, stayed for three. Don't ever want to leave. Spa facilities are amazing and rejuvenating. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

An amazing view
Great location and view on the lake. Surrounded by a large garden. Excellent service. Great food. Only minus point: We got a rather dark room next to the elevator although the hotel was half empty.

Absolutely fantastic hotel! Beautiful big rooms we had an amazing balcony with table chairs and sunbeds which ment we could sit out and picnic in the sun 🌞. Lovely staff at both reception and in the dining room. Beautiful breakfast nothing too much trouble.

Put simply the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Staff were rude, rooms were cramped and in a poor condition, breakfast had barely any food left on the buffet. Don’t make the same mistake, stay away

Love this hotel
Such a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location overlooking the lake. Our room was super with an amazing view from the balcony of the lake. Brilliant service from everyone and the best gin and tonic anywhere

The view is spectacular but the hotel is dated and run down, curtains did not fit windows, door stops did not stop door from hitting mirror, no privacy as people in close proximity can see in your room, noise in corridor preventing sleep, the price of dinner is extortionate, no coffee or tea making facilities, one bottle of water between 2, staff at breakfast ignorant to me, did not explain what we had to do as it was alien to anything English, had to make your own omelette etc, not happy booked there on way home but little choice.

10 - 15 min walk from town.
Room very small would have difficulty in swing a cat. Bathroom / shower room very small, no facility to hang wet towels made even more difficult when towels no changed. Overhaul very disappointed. On the other hand a good continental breakfast.

Quirky hotel
Quirky hotel in an amazing location. The views are spectacular from the terrace where you can enjoy breakfast and dinner. Breakfast choices are good and dinner excellent although expensive. The rooms are spacious however the bathrooms are tiny with the washbasin in the bedroom. I would recommend a trip on the lake and a ride on the train up the Rigi mountain.

Our second stay here, really enjoyable, fantastic location, views, staff, facilities and breakfast. Out of Luzern, but can catch ferry and hotel offers shuttle service to Vitznau Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing time

What a veiw!!!!
A very good hotel with fantastic views of Lake Lucerne. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The rooms are very spacious although the bath/shower room we had was rather small. The only thing missing was tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The restaurant was very good for both breakfast and evening meals. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The pool was also very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel and intend to book another stay there next year.

It's located right along the lake, providing great view from the room. Even though the hotel itself looked a bit worn down, it didn't affect our satisfactory stay there. The staff were OK, the dinner at the restaurant great.

A great lake view hotel situated in the beautiful and serene location few minutes off vitznau. Restaurant was great and staff were really caring. What should have been a 10 out of 10 stay for us was hampered by interaction with one front desk lady twice - once for giving us twin bed room instead of a double bed (and the conversation to explain we were a couple) and another one when I asked for charging adapter. I like to think it was due to language constraints. But the lady with glasses on the day we checked out was very good. Highly recommended for a lake view room. We stayed in room number 22 on the ground floor.

Magic place to stay!
Absolutely fell in love with this place on arrival! It was the quiet season so found ourselves upgraded to a lake view room consisting of large King sized bed with separate lounge area which had doors opening onto a large balcony with outdoor setting and deck chairs. We instantly went down and booked for a 2nd night! We then witnessed an amazing sunset over the lake. ... continued watching this from the hotel's restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious dinner (so Good we ate here both nights) . We were absolutely overwhelmed with how courteous and friendly all the staff at this hotel were... plus their eagerness to help in any way (even offering a shuttle bus to connect with the local cog wheel train up the mountain ....which is a must to do plus a trip over to Lucerne! ). We had intended originally to stay in Lucerne but we're so pleased we'd found this gem of a place out of town instead. If we ever get a return trip to europe we will be definitely visiting this hotel again..... But for longer next time!
