Only issue we had was that we had no hot water for our shower in our room. Had a bath so not too big an issue. Staff handled it very well overall though.

Great location for Blenheim Palace
Pros:The ambience and location
Cons:Airflow in rooms in hot weather and mend the lockers by the pool
Location:Blenheim Palace
This was a return visit for us and we really enjoyed the whole 'grand' feeling of the place. The pool was an added bonus, although the changing facilities are a little cramped and none of the lockers worked. The room was a bit cramped and would have been stifling hot in the recent hot weather we've been having here in UK. The restaurant served excellent food with excellent service, and the breakfast was very good despite the price.

One night stay during february
Pros:Setting
Cons:TV reception
Location:BLenheim Palace
It was an extremely cold day when we arrived and unfortunately our room was feeling rather cold, the TV reception was very poor and we wanted to watch Emgland v Wales 6 nations rugby match, this caused us some stress until we managed to tune the TV in more successfully. I had booked 2 rooms and was surprised when even though they were successive numbers they were across the corridor from each other, it was OK but a little disappointing.
We attended a wedding reception in the evening which was very enjoyable.

Beautiful location
Pros:Beautiful surroundings
Cons:To access rooms and swimming pool there are outside walkways, a risk in ourf inclement weather!
Location:Very close to Blenheim Palace
A small room which was fine for an over night stay. The restaurant was quite pricey but fabulous food. Lovely swimming pool open lengthy hours too.

One Night Away
My husband and I booked Eynsham Hall as a 1 night stay away to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The hall itself is beautiful and the gardens fantastic. Bar was quite small but you can take your drinks to the lounge which was pleasant enough.
For the most people who stay here will not stay in the actual hall but in the lodge which is a more modem building within the grounds a short walk from the main hall.
I read the reviews in advance so knew this would be the case. The room itself was on the top floor and very small as it had slanted roof space. My husband and I are not small people but we managed OK in the space available for the 1 night but I would not recommend it for more than a few nights in total.
Room had all you would expect in a modern hotel - usual facilities all in good working order and clean.
We didn't eat at the hotel as it was quite expensive in the restaurant and the bar food looked nice but didn't really take our fancy but that's a matter of personal preference. We headed into Witney (by car) and found a wonderful wine bar on the high-street called the Como Lounge where you can have tapas or burgers or light meals at a really reasonable price. It was not too busy and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a lighter meal option.
Breakfast was included in our room price and we were not disappointed - it was a great selection, of both continental and full English all well cooked and hot, with good quality coffee !
In short : Would I stay at Eynsham Hall again - The answer has to be a big YES

Couples retreat
A little disappointed our room was not in the main hall, however had top floor room with a beautiful view in another building within the grounds.
We only stayed one night so was not able to sample all the facilities the hotel has to offer but dined in the main restaurant in the evening and had a lovely meal. Service was friendly and the food delicious!
The long driveway leading up to the main hall was fantastic making it quite easy to think you were back in the early 19th century and you were in a horse drawn carriage where the butlers would be ready to greet you and take your luggage (albeit, the carriage you were in was being pulled by a very different kind of horse power)
Overall, the stay was short but it was a lovely getaway from the hustle and bustle of London, would definitely recommend

Imposing grand hall with annexe rooms
We stayed in Eynsham Lodge annexe. The room was quite basic, the bed not the most comfortable, but a very good shower with rain shower head. We ate in the Gun Room bar and had an exceptionally good meal but unfortunately the service was very slow. Because of this our desserts were complimentary. Breakfast was also very good (buffet style with lots of choice). Overall very good.
