Upon entering the hotel by the Manager , who was quite rude. We are very excited to come to the city and speak greeted poorly was quite sad. The rooms were average, And the Bathroom was tiny. Clean beds great bedding we luckily were at a room that turned inside facing other rooms so it was quiet. The breakfast area was standard self-serve. The other staff at the hotel were lovely, but the manager, as I said before was miserable, we will never be staying at this Radisson again, and I have stayed across the world .

I was told I could book breakfast at the front desk more cheaply than at the restaurant, and I did that one day. Another day they didn’t allow it. Otherwise, the staff was wonderful, the room was roomy and clean and the bed was comfortable. It was close to everything, too. I’d stay here again.

This is a fantasticly convenient place to stay in Edinburgh-you can walk everywhere But the best thi about this here is the incredible service at reception, concierge and in the restaurant -kind, welcoming friendly and so helpful - The rooms are clean and the beds large and comfortable-truthfully the hallways and common areas could do with a good scrub and deodorising but the convenience and great people outweigh that ! Thank you particularly to CALLUN and the reception team x

Perfectly located & comfy hotel on the Royal Mile
This hotel was perfectly located. It is right on the central bit of the Royal Mile, close to the train station and a million things to do. It is a busy area and the hotel did provide ear plugs in our room, but even with a nightclub outside my bedroom window (I was on the 2nd floor) I didn’t need them. The double windows kept out any street sound. The staff were super helpful, especially at check in when they couldn’t find my reservation at first, which I think was a Hotels.com glitch, not the fault of the hotel itself. (We arrived on Sunday, and on Monday afternoon I got a notification from the Hotels.com app: “Get ready for your stay in Edinburgh!” Thought, “that’s concerning” and tapped on it and the app correctly showed that our stay started on Sunday, but it was weird.)

My wife and daughter had stayed at the Blue some years back when they came for the Xmas markets, so my wife recom we use you again, especially as you are so central to the old town. The staff in the lobby were very friendly and helpful when we had queries. The room was exceptional, a separate entrance hall, leading to a very large bedroom, bathroom and a second bedroom with 2 single beds. Being on the 6th floor we also had fantastic views. Overlooking the front you could see the Forth, from the side you could see up Old Town towards the Castle

Abysmal
Extremely disappointing. We did not receive the room we ordered and no attempt was made to resolve this. We were advised that the room type we booked was not available and no other rooms whatsoever. Subsequently as we were put in an accessible room our two young children could not have baths, we had to bend over to use the sink and the alarm cords kept being pulled by my 2 year old. To add to this the following morning the breakfast was abysmal, the food was over cooked, dry and my wife ordered an omelet which turned up burnt. Whilst a partial credit was offered as we had paid an inflated price for the room due to booking last minute they only credited down to what the room we had booked but did not receive usually was. Extremely disappointed, an underwhelming experience.
