I mean its right smack in the middle of sanjo and karasuma. Tons of places around to go see and do things. Kyoto is amazing and this hotel is also pretty amazing. Ofc its on the tiny side (all japanese hotels are like this anyways) but i liked the artistic style of the room. I found it to be very nicely done

I loved this hotel! the location is perfect for transportation with bus stops all around and train stations nearby. Theres lots of eating and shopping options close by. Staff was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious!

This is the 2nd time I stayed at this hotel. The rooms are nice & quiet. I like the set-up of the hotel and it's location. What I didn't like this time: 1) The slippers in the rooms are dirty and are reused. Gross! And they only fit you if you have tiny feet. 2) I asked for directions to the Metro station, and the staff member told me the wrong directions. Plus, he seemed annoyed that I even asked, even though I was the only person at the front desk. Now I know, he was annoyed, as he really didn't know, but didn't want to say that. I don't remember his name, but he was an Indian man, young, who worked the day shifts on Tuesday (Oct, 8, 2024) & Wednesday (Oct, 9, 2024). 3) There is only very few TV stations and they are all news except for a station that plays kids shows. It'd be nice to have a few more options. I don't know if I'll stay there again. Too bad, as I loved the theme of the rooms and the location But I was a little disappointed this time.

Good overall
Overall I’ve had a good experience at this hotel. It was well located and within walkable distance of train station with loads of eateries and shopping places around. The room was comfortable and clean and the hotel had good amenities. However the breakfast felt a bit repetitive and reception staff could be more friendly. Additional washing machines and dryers would also be a plus.

The proximity to shopping, restaurants and trains was great. Loved the free coffee, water, and sitting area in the lobby. The room was the smallest we've stayed in but the bed and pillows made up for it, they were very comfortable. The AC worked well. Our view was not nice at all but that doesnt matter, we weren't in the room much. I would recommend this hotel.
