Appartement idéal pour séjour à Rome
Pour un premier séjour à Rome, nous avons été ravis de ce bel appartement très agréable pour deux couples. Les hôtes fort accueillants ont aménagé cet espace avec goût et souci du détail traduisant leur passion pour l'archéologie et la mise en valeur de leur patrimoine architectural. Principaux atouts: lits très confortables et literie de qualité sans oublier l'emplacement idéal pour visiter, à pied, les principaux attraits touristiques de la ville. Un oasis de repos au coeur de la ville! Merci à Andrea et Federica pour votre âme d'artiste, cela vous honore! Quatre québécois en cavale

Amazing location
We loved everything about the apartment. Clean,super quiet, charming. Once you step out of building everything is in walking distance. Nothing was to far max 20 min walk. Trevi fountain is like 10-12 min. Grocery store one apartment away etc. Laundry room five min walk. Super pleased made pure stay do much nicer to be able to walk everywhere and everything was so accessible.Owner of the property was super informative and quick to respond.

Location, Location, Location!
As the title says, it is in a fantastic location. It was a great place to stay for two couples. Within one minute there is coffee and pastries, a breakfast place, and a fantastic gelato shop. Within five minutes there is a square with a bunch of great restaurants and bars. Our favorite was the Mercado. It is also centrally located to many of the main places to visit. The property manager was very responsive. Would definitely stay there again if we came back to Rome.

Fabulous location in the middle of tourist sights and surrounded by restaurants. Very homey and comfortable and one of our favorite stays in a month of traveling. Great AC to come back to after a hot day. Just book it!

A perfect oasis
Rome is breathtaking, but sightseeing means long days that can be hot, dirty, crowds, etc. House of Marbles is like the perfect “off switch” from what’s outside: it’s perfectly cool, quiet, nicely lit, well appointed… like a refuge. The location is great so you can pop back for a midday siesta or a shower, to get food or water. It’s right by Campo so there’s lots of food and supplies, great shopping, and lots of busses to get around if you don’t want to walk, which is what we chose most of the time. 11/10. Probably the best rental I’ve seen. Bring your own shampoo.

Charming Place in a Great Location
Upon arrival, we messaged Andrea who quickly responded and met us and welcomed us graciously. It was very hard to get any wi-fi or cell reception in the whole city, so when we forgot to get the actual codes before we parted, it took awhile before we could get ahold of him again. Also, both of our vrbo’s in Italy charged a city tax per person and needed payment upon arrival. (Just to be aware as it was not expected—maybe we missed it in the ad, but it caught us off guard.) The master bedroom was large and lovely, and the master bathroom was completely adequate. The second bathroom, however, had a shower so small you could not bend one way or another without opening the door or shutting the water off. Which meant all 4 adults were sharing one shower by day 2, again not a big deal, just a note. Couch/futon was a nice size but not a very comfortable sleeping spot for an adult, a smaller child might have not mind so much. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and Andrea was a great host!

A wonderful stay!
What a great property and experience. We had a wonderful time in Rome and really enjoyed our time at this property. It was clean, well furnished and had many upgrades that added to the experience. The location was perfect as is central to many of the key attractions and piazzas where we could enjoy a cafe or an afternoon break. The hosts were very responsive and provided guide books and recommendations which made it easier to plan our time. Highly recommend the house of marbles for your Rome experience.

Historic decor and great location
We loved our stay in the House of Marble. The apartment was amazing with old and new architecture. We loved the marble pieces throughout the walls. Location was perfect with the piazza down the street where we found plenty of places to eat and a daily farmer’s market. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was amazing! Great location and so charming inside! It was immaculate and had plenty of space for 5 adults. We stayed here just one night before we flew home but I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Andrea was a great host. He made sure we had instructions on how to get there and provided lots of information ahead of time on the area. He also helped us arrange travel to the airport which was a huge help. It was wonderful to have 2 bathrooms with nice showers and the beds were so comfortable. It really exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Andrea!

Terrific apartment.
Apartments for hire do not get much better than the house of marbles. The location was ideal, close to many attractions, cafes/restaurants and shopping. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. I can’t think of any negative aspects. If we ever return to Rome we will hopefully be staying here again. Thanks to our very kind hosts!
