Un chalet de 5 chambres de plus de 300 ans situé dans 3,5 hectares de jardins et de bois avec une piscine extérieure chauffée (ouverte de mai à septembre). Il y a aussi un terrain attenant de 1 acre pour l'accès aux promenades fluviales et pour les promenades de chiens. La maison surplombe la vallée de Pentewen et se trouve à proximité de belles plages, de promenades dans les bois, du projet Eden et des jardins perdus de Heligan. Le couchage est divisé en deux zones, accessibles par des escaliers séparés, ce qui le rend approprié pour le partage de deux familles.
Les réservations se font du VENDREDI au VENDREDI entre avril et octobre mais peuvent être flexibles à d'autres moments de l'année.
Lors de votre séjour dans ce cottage, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes de marche de Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Dans cet hébergement, vous profiterez de prestations de choix comme une piscine extérieure. Ce cottage propose l'accès Wi-Fi à Internet gratuit et une piscine privée.

Beautiful Cottage in Cornwall
A beautiful 400 year old cottage set in beautiful woodland surroundings. Everything you would think you’d need was supplied, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi in every room. Clean and comfortable throughout, shops close by. Would recommend this cottage and the host Steph did everything she possibly could to make our stay the best. Definitely a Christmas we’ll remember for ever.

Sunny Corner
Sunny Corner is a lovely property. It has low ceilings, many connected rooms and a kitchen with every gadget imaginable. Parking is plentiful (unless your car has been lowered) and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking. We took our little dog and she loved it, skipping through the forest and llounging on the blankets on the sofas upon her return. The local area is well serviced, but if you want an M&S or a waitrose, you need to travel a little further afield. Everywhere we travelled was within an hour or so of Sunny Corner, making it an ideal location. Steph was a very attentive host, even cutting her own holiday short to rectify a washing machine issue. Great place, great, flexible host and lovely part of the country.

Another fantastic week at Sunny Corner
This is our third visit and we loved it again! The house sits in a magical setting with a fantastic pool and lovely grounds. Everything has been thought of to make your holiday easy and enjoyable. Porthpean is our favourite beach and is perfect for families with a great little cafe and toilets. Steph is an amazing and incredibly helpful host. We highly recommend.

Positives Great location close to Lost Gardens,Eden Project, super beaches, great eateries etc Lovely spacious sitting room with lots of books/DVDs Gorgeous pool area with pool heated to an excellent temperature. Nicely decorated and furnished throughout with lots of homely touches Beautiful and interesting gardens Instant response from host when contacted Negatives Steep steps inside and out although not surprising given age and location of the property. All manageable with care. Small kitchen but generously equipped Upstairs shower room very small and shower not big enough for large adult. Downstairs bathroom spacious with large walk-in shower and full size bath Property at side of busy road but quiet parking area elsewhere. No traffic noise within Road too busy to walk along so not much within easy walking distance although there is apparently a path over a field to local hotel/restaurant which does excellent food (Kingswood) For us the positives vastly outweighed the negatives and I would certainly stay here again

Beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings.
All ages loved the cottage. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in spite of the less than perfect weather! The pool was enjoyed every day even in the rain, it is a great size and was not at all cold. The steps both inside and out are steep, as described but even us older ones managed. I loved sitting watching the birds in the mornings (even in the rain). I saw my first Nuthatch! There was everything and more that you could wish for to be available in the kitchen and we also made use of the barbecue and chimnea (also in the rain). The children and dog enjoyed a cosy evening in front of the log burner.

This is our second time at Sunny Corner and we loved it just as much as last time. It is a wonderful house in a magical setting. We loved all the improvements to the swimming pool area and bathroom and enjoyed watching a variety of birds feeding on the terrace-fat balls provided. We even saw a dipper in the evening by the swimming pool and herons flying over the cottage. Porthpean is our favourite beach for the kayaking and paddle boarding. All in all, we had a fabulous time and have even booked for next year. Thank you, Stephanie.

Absolutely Fantastic!
We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It is ideally positioned to explore Cornwall. It had everything we needed to have a great holiday. The cottage was stunning and very clean. The grounds were beautiful and secure which meant we could let our dogs wonder off the lead and not have worry about their safety and the swimming pool was fantastic. Steph really has thought of everything and I would definitely recommend this property.

We had all a really good time here. A lovely place to stay. Convenient walking distance to Pentewan beach for sundowners, down a handy river walk. We also took track to ‘The Lost Gardens of Heligan’ a 2.5 mile stroll. Porthpean beach is close by and is a dog friendly beach, also great place to to launch our Kayaks to watch the seals and explore the coastline.The property is completely private, which was brilliant. The pool was a fantastic place to start the day with a swim and wind down at the end of the day. The kitchen is well equipped and eating out on the terrace was great as we all just chatted and laughed. In all a fantastic place to spend time with the family without the glare of phones. Very well equipped for a family stay and near to some lovely beaches. Comfortable bedrooms and a large lounge area. Lovely heated pool and BBQ area. Steph, the host, was very helpful. Caution is needed on some steep steps down to the pool and the lower parking area. Overall, an enjoyable family holiday.

Slice of paradise!
We had a wonderful time, spending most of it by the pool and walking our dog. It was truly home away from home, with so much made available by the host. We were blown away by the privacy we had staying at the property and how close by everywhere (restaurants. shopping, tourist attractions etc).
