Stayed the Cabana Suites. The safe didn't work, reported it straight away still waiting for it to be repaired on the day we left. Room wasn't the cleanest but had clean towels and fresh bedding every day. Staff were helpful and friendly. Overall had a good time .

The perfect off-the-Strip spot
We stayed a couple of days in a Tower Room at the end of a weeklong road trip, and it was fantastic! The room was huge and clean, and the included in-and-out parking was so convenient for trips to Hoover Dam, the Strip, and other areas. An easy walk to the Fremont Street Experience with tons of dining and entertainment options, and a Starbucks right by the elevator in the morning. Perfect.

The property was very modern. I loved the design. There was very little lighting and not many plugs for charging devices. The cover of the light above of bathroom mirror was missing and the carpet had a water stain. Other than that i can't complain.

The property is aged and at one point, all the elevators broke at the same time. We were on the 11th floor and were told we could not access our room until they figured things out. My husband arrived the day before I did and they wouldnt let him check in without me. They refused to let him facetime me so we could confirm my identity. I sent a letter, a copy of my DL and my physical credit card with him. The bass music on Fremont stops precisely at 4am so i was able to start to fall asleep at 4:01am. Will never stay here again.

I had no idea I had an expired drivers license. They wouldn’t let me check in because my ID was expired. They didn’t give me a refund either. My ID is still my ID whether it was expired or not. I had no idea it was expired. Horrible experience and service

The thing I did like about this property was it was oh Vegas cool. What it didn’t like was when showering the show was designed poorly and filled the bathroom up with water On the floor

This hotel delivered for what I was looking for
Affordable, quiet and nice. AC worked good. It’s technically across the street from the main hotel/casino over at the Cabana but I enjoyed i lt. I didn’t spend much of my time in the room but it was nice and I’d definitely stay there again. It’s a street over from Freemont so there’s no chaos going on. Highly recommend!!!

I love El Cortez. Very laid back old school vibe. Great food at the restaurants, very helpful polite staff and I won on the slots a lot making it even more fun. The rooms are basic and simple but theu are clean affordable. The maid staff was awsome and helpful. As a smoker I love the open air hallways so i can step outside my room and have a smoke anytime i want. This is my second stay at El Cortez and I will for sure be going back.
