This property is rated as a 5 star but it is a 3 star at best. Upon arriving we were greeted and escorted to the preferred check in lounge. We worked with a gentleman that used the language barrier to not address any of our questions. When our butler came to take us to our room we asked him the same questions and the VIP clerk got very angry with us. We were taken to our room by our butler. He dropped us off without any discussion of where things were or how they worked. Thankfully we are experienced travelers and were able to figure things out on our own. We were given a room by the service road which was very noisy. There was mold around the sinks in the bathroom. No VIP extras were offered to us. We also noticed moldy mattresses on the bali beds around the pool area. The entertainment staff did a poor job of posting and following an activity schedule. When something was listed on the schedule and you showed up to participate, it was hit or miss if it was going to happen. The staff did not participate or organize the activity. We did participate in a corn hole activity. Afterward, the staff member insisted I write a google review for him on the spot. I said I would do it later but he took over my phone and entered his own review. I was stunned by this action and did report him to the management. This is completely unacceptable. Restaurants were average. Could always find something to eat. Our butler arranged a nice anniversary decoration for our room.
