This hotel is split into three buildings which was very confusing. One building( Maxine) smelled of mold and the room smell was even worst and was not cleaned properly. However, the staff was accommodating to move us to another room. If you want the pool it’s in two of the buildings, which you have to go through the restaurants to get up to pool. The area is convient to the stores and restaurants near by and especially to the beach. I always say you get what you pay for.

The hotel is made up of three buildings. I stayed in the mafoli and the main check in building. The main building is better than the other one. The elevator was out the weekend of my stay and you have to keep the AC on or the room will turn into a damp mess, especially in the bathroom. The walls and floor will sweat. The front desk and managers were all kind and did as best they could what the resources they had. I didn't have any hot water and it couldn't be fixed so they moved my room to the main hotel which was much better. Over all it was an okay stay but not somewhere id put on the top of my list to stay again.

Other than Stefanie, Pedro & Wilmur I’d fire that staff. I’m sorry but a lot of things are so in inconvenient like the ice machines. Late check out even after you request and pay for it 6 different people knock on your door disturbing your sleep. One cleaning lady just walked right in and the door was locked. I stood in the Catalina main building on the first floor there was a pair of press on French top nails on the floor from the day I checked in and probably still there now. Your night time staff which consist of a young female and a stocky man with a bald head and beard. They are the absolute worst! I’m from New York I was born rude & these two have me beat! I’d never stay here again & that’s sucks because I love to save money. Oh the tacos are amazing. That’s really it.

My room smelled so bad like mold/mildew and felt so humid. My bed sheets felt wet but were completely dry. Never got clean towels or linen. Complained and tried to get a new room and said they didn’t have any available. Worst experience ever. Parking was horrible too.
