The hotel was nice, the pools and the beach were amazing! The food was horrible everywhere we ate. Hotel was also short on staff! Also this is the 2nd time I stay at a VIP property and we did not get any upgrades even when asked! There were rooms available because I asked but they refuse to give you a free upgrade.

Lopesan was a great resort for a week in paradise. The variety in restaurants allowed for us to try something new every night. Wilken at the goldfish bar was the best staff member and made you feel like a VIP every time you came for lunch and a cocktail.

Beautiful grounds, beach and pools. Lopesan is worth its gold in amenities. The filet mignon brochettes at the El Assador restaurant was our 5star favourite meal. The Bravaro Coffee Shop was our late afternoon go-to spot for delicious lattes. Top notch dining and hospitality service. We want to go back!

The resort was nice but the food was not. I understand it’s difficult to make quality food when you have to accommodate so many people but it was just so so bad. They gave me a certificate for staying at the adults only section and I called so many times to try to get through to someone to use the certificate for the spa. I never got through to anyone. At checkout, I just left it at the front desk.

Food was not good, had much better experiences at other resorts close by to this one. The property is nice but isn't that well kept with the times. Pools are mediocre at best. food did not agree with me at all and the options were poor compared to other nearby resorts. In addition to the fact that I had a bad experience with one meal that I will not go into detail about. The rooms were beautiful and clean, that was the high point of this resort.

We had a good time. Food was good, the buffet options were good. I wish they had an authentic dominican dining option instead of the same mexican, hibachi and italian options. The property itself wasnt bad. I had an issue with the odor through out property. Also, our room was super humid every day we were there which made it feel like the bed was moist when we went to lay in it. Hospitality was excellent, pool area were great. Overall a 7 out of 10
