The hotel canceled on me before my trip and never reimbursed me. Sad to know they have hurricane damage but you can’t just take people’s money without providing a service. They sent me this message, “Hello Expedia Traveler, It is with sadness that we alert you the Plaza Resort and Spa has sustained significant damage from Hurricane Ian and Hurricane Nicole. We have been informed the Resort will not be open in time for your visit to Daytona Beach. Your reservation has been cancelled and you will be fully refunded within 5-7 business days. We thank you for your understanding during this very difficult time for our former staff and our regular guests. We hope to be open in a year and hope to have an opportunity to welcome you back. Thank you, Plaza Resort & Spa” but I didn’t get a reimbursement 4 weeks later. Don’t risk your money.
